Stars Telemetry does not guarantee that all abnormal conditions, equipment failures, leaks, or other monitored events will be detected or reported immediately.

Our monitoring services and automated notifications are not intended to replace professional inspections, safety systems, emergency response procedures, or other measures required for critical applications.

4. SMS and Email Alert Services

Stars Telemetry offers optional automated notification services that allow authorized users to receive operational alerts by SMS, email, or both, according to the preferences and configurations associated with their accounts.

SMS and email alerts are provided for informational and operational monitoring purposes and are not guaranteed emergency warning services.

5. SMS Enrollment and Consent

Participation in the Stars Telemetry SMS Alerts program is voluntary.

Users who wish to receive SMS notifications must provide a valid mobile phone number and give express consent to receive automated operational text messages from Stars Telemetry.

SMS consent may be collected through an appropriate enrollment or notification-settings process that clearly identifies the Stars Telemetry brand, the nature of the messages, and the applicable messaging disclosures.

Where digital consent is collected through a checkbox, the SMS consent option must be optional, unchecked by default, and separate from any consent for email notifications or marketing communications.

By opting in, you authorize Stars Telemetry to send automated, non-marketing SMS messages relating to the selected monitoring services, devices, and configured alerts.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any products or services.

Enrollment in operational SMS alerts does not constitute consent to receive promotional or marketing messages.

Users must provide a mobile phone number they are authorized to use and must keep their contact information accurate.

6. SMS Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary.

The number of SMS messages depends on the quantity of monitored devices, configured alert thresholds, operating conditions, and occurrence or resolution of monitored events.

Multiple messages may be transmitted within a short period when abnormal conditions occur. At other times, users may receive no messages.

Stars Telemetry does not guarantee a fixed number of messages per day, week, or month.

7. SMS Fees and Carrier Charges

Message and data rates may apply.

Stars Telemetry does not impose a separate per-message charge for receiving SMS alerts unless otherwise specified in an applicable service agreement or pricing arrangement.

Mobile network operators may apply messaging or data charges according to the recipient's wireless service plan.

Users are responsible for any charges imposed by their mobile carriers.

8. SMS Opt-Out — STOP

Users may cancel their participation in the SMS Alerts program at any time by replying STOP to a message received from the Stars Telemetry SMS number.

After the opt-out request is processed, a confirmation message may be sent, and no further operational SMS alerts will be sent from that messaging program unless the user completes a valid re-enrollment process.

Users may also manage SMS notification preferences within the Stars Telemetry platform where this functionality is available.

Opting out of SMS messages does not automatically cancel the user's account, terminate telemetry monitoring services, or disable email notifications.

9. SMS Assistance — HELP

For assistance with the SMS Alerts program, reply HELP to any message received from the Stars Telemetry SMS number.

10. Email Alert Notifications

Email alerts may contain information similar to SMS notifications, including device events, monitoring thresholds, abnormal conditions, and system status updates.

The frequency of email notifications varies based on monitored events and user settings.

Users may manage their email notification preferences through the platform, where available, or contact info@starstelemetry.com for assistance.

Disabling SMS alerts does not automatically disable email notifications, and disabling email alerts does not automatically cancel SMS enrollment.

Marketing email communications, if offered, will be managed separately from operational alert preferences and in accordance with applicable law.

11. Notification Delivery and Availability

Stars Telemetry uses electronic communication systems and third-party infrastructure to transmit monitoring information and notifications.

SMS and email delivery may be affected by:

• Mobile carrier coverage and network availability.

• Internet connectivity and communication service interruptions.

• Device or sensor failures.

• Incorrect or outdated contact information.

• Email filtering, spam protection, or messaging restrictions.

• Delays or failures involving third-party infrastructure.

Stars Telemetry does not guarantee the continuous availability, immediate transmission, or successful delivery of every notification.

Users should not rely exclusively on SMS or email alerts to identify or respond to emergencies, hazardous conditions, or situations requiring immediate intervention.

In the event of an emergency, users should contact the appropriate emergency or qualified service professionals.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Stars Telemetry handles personal information, monitoring data, mobile phone numbers, email addresses, and communication preferences in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
